The Artengine will be closing up shop for the rest of the week as the gang heads out to Montreal for the Oeuvre Ouverte Congrès PureData Convention, which kicks off tomorrow August 21st, and goes until Sunday August 26th.

We will be presenting the work of our two Resident Artists who have created New Works in New Technologies, a collaborative work using PureData.

This Convention will include performances, workshops, discussions, and paper sessions on a myriad of topics related to the Open Source Community. The sessions will be held in some great venues around the city, such as the SAT (Société des arts technologiques), Concordia and McGill Universities, Hexagram and Oboro to name a few.
