Our Artistic Director has been away at school, and while the organization misses him we know he is bringing back new ideas and lots more experimentation. Over the course fo the last year he has taken a great interest in our laser cutter and has produced a number of projects for school on it. We will feature a few of them here just to show some of the great stuff the laser cutter can do.
The first project is called The Book of Emotions. It is a Book Art piece that isn,t really a book. It uses a double hinge to create modular book that can be composed and recomposed much like the motions that inspire it.
The book is created using laser cut Fabriano paper that is then adhered together with rubber cement.
