On April 28th, Ottawa audiences will have the opportunity to view and interact with 6 new film installations at the Shenkman Arts Centre. This year’s installations include works by invited artists: Québec filmmaker Alexandre Larose and multi-media artist Allison Moore, both based in Montréal.
Works presented at the event range from interactive shadow puppetry, a time-lapse of a snowmobile trip where the public will be able to manipulate the projector speed, and Larose’s film loop, “Saint Bathans Repetitions: étude 8 (Auckland en noir et blanc)”.
The installation will take place for one night only, on Saturday April 28th, from 730PM until 930PM. The event is free, family-friendly, and wheelchair accessible.
