Biography

Pixie's films have shown at festivals across Canada and internationally since 2000. The format of her work includes stop-motion animation, live soundtrack performances, documentaries, music videos, and experimental narratives.   Her films are available to rent or to buy through the Canadian Filmmakers' Distribution Centre.

Pixie is a founding member of the Windows Collective, a group of Ottawa filmmakers devoted to the creation and exhibition of experimental works on celluloid.  She instructs filmmaking workshops through the Independent Filmmakers Cooperative of Ottawa.
