[Lab] Firepit Project / Metal CNC?

Hey,

A project is beginning to form in my mind around a metal firepit. Whether
it's built off an old washing machine drum, fully fabricated and/or
involves a spinning visual effect

on the CNC of metal or plasma cutting as a build tactic I need to better
understand / consider.

Any suggestions of a good place to start locally to ask some questions?

Unfortunately the Wed night mod lab meetup is a regular conflict for my
schedule ;/
