Bollywood playback singer Aakanksha Sharma stopped by the MAD studios for an exclusive acoustic performance featuring a medley of her favourite tracks. Prefaced by her Canadian debut at #BollywoodMonster Mashup in July, the singer treats viewers with a creative performance and expresses her newfound passion for working with multicultural artists following her experience in Canada.

Nominated twice at the 2017 Mirchi Music Awards for Upcoming Female Vocalist of the Year for her songs “Tu Alvida” from the film Traffic and “Dhal Jaun Main” from the film Rustom, Aakanksha Sharma brings her international star power to the MAD studios for an exclusive performance.

ABOUT AAKANKSHA SHARMA

#MonsterArtist Aakanksha Sharma has been nominated twice at the 2017 Mirchi Music Awards for Upcoming Female Vocalist of the Year for her songs “Tu Alvida” from the film Traffic and “Dhal Jaun Main” from the film Rustom. As a seasoned performer, the young artist has been making waves in the Bollywood music scene as a playback singer after winning Chhote Ustaad – Do Deshon Ki Ek Awaaz and appearing as a finalist on Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar on Star Plus, one of India’s most popular television channels. Recent film credits include singing hits like “Main Adhoora” from Beimaan Love, “Tu Alvida” from Traffic, and many more.
