don’t waste my time so the first song we

4:37

did was laid on the line by a great

4:39

Canadian band called triumph I found out

4:42

about them actually because at humber

4:45

Rik Emmett who’s the lead singer of

4:46

triumph he actually taught a course

4:48

there and I was in his class and he was

4:51

really inspirational to me I think one

4:53

of the hardest things for me doing this

4:56

like being in music is a lot of

4:59

self-doubt and I feel like if I could

5:01

tell my younger self like like how it

5:04

would be and some of the emotional and

5:08

mental hurdles that I had to go through

5:10

and how it would all turn out like I

5:12

wouldn’t have taken it so harshly I mean

5:15

I I still think I have like self-doubt

5:17

sometimes but I try not to be one of

5:21

those like selfie people like I try to

5:23

talk about real things I try to bring

5:25

real topics to people’s attention and I

5:28

think part of the reason that people

5:30

gravitate towards my social media is

5:34

because yeah I talk about things that

5:37

people sometimes don’t want to face or

5:40

you know they might get upset about that

5:42

I’m bringing to the surface but like

5:44

it’s all based on you know truth and

5:47

based on what’s out there and and that

5:50

kind of thing so like you just but it’s

5:51

just getting people to have a

5:52

conversation and I think that’s that’s

5:54

important

5:55

[Music]

6:02

I think one band member was like is this

6:04

about a fish and I don’t know I guess

6:07

they were arguing about it

6:09

[Music]

6:23

so you’ll again

9:49

it’s just a really fun song I just

9:51

really enjoy doing it and showcasing the

9:55

lead vocals by you know the singer from

9:59

heart like she’s awesome I would love to

10:01

be singing a lot more of her songs and

10:03

just her style and everything is just

10:05

amazing first time I heard about Monster

10:07

Rock we’re gonna try I checked it out

10:08

and and it just looked like a lot of fun

10:12

and I think that’s also when I started

10:13

getting into kind of like the rock

10:15

genres and stuff like that so I just

10:17

knew that if I did it I would totally

10:18

kill it and I’m so happy that this year

10:21

I was put in monster Agra and I’m part

10:24

of the the MADD program it’s been great

10:27

to work with Picasso and his team i-i’ve

10:29

just really come to love journey and and

10:33

the vocals and the melodies and and a

10:36

lot of the messages behind their music

10:38

just a lot of they’re very heartfelt

10:40

songs and it became famous to me first

10:42

by Mariah Carey and then I listened to

10:46

journey’s version and I was just like I

10:48

was just really blown away by by how

10:50

they had done it and I wanted to just

10:52

put my spin on it so so that’s why I

10:55

chose that one feeling your heart beat

11:10

with my

11:16

softly whisper you’re so sexy

11:27

so blind

11:31

we sailed on together we drifted

11:39

and here you are by my side

11:46

[Music]

11:51

so now I got

11:54

do you

12:04

believe

12:07

so

12:11

with all

12:15

Oh

12:18

what

12:21

to me

12:23

[Music]

12:39

being without you living alone

12:48

empty house

12:50

oh cool

12:54

wanting to hold you one you need I want

13:05

to do

13:09

but now

13:13

tonight

13:15

day

13:19

I need you to

13:24

[Music]

13:30

do you

13:31

with

13:36

[Music]

13:42

so he

13:49

[Music]

13:54

what your lovely

13:56

needs to be

13:58

[Music]

13:59

Oh

14:04

[Music]

14:17

I started to do some original stuff

14:25

because you know I had something to say

14:29

doctors have proven over and over you

14:31

don’t need to have animal products to

14:33

survive and to thrive so so why right

14:36

all the biggest heart disease diabetes

14:39

cancer it’s all from animal products you

14:42

know if you have a heart attack like the

14:44

doctors gonna say you need to go on a

14:45

plant-based diet right like why do you

14:47

have to wait till that happens now I’m

14:50

writing about and what I want to write

14:52

about and and I think that’s what art is

14:54

right you do you do that and then and so

14:57

I think that’s what I’m going to be

14:58

doing going forward the next song is an

15:06

original song called chains of silence
