“We can think of freedom as a collective experience we can achieve together.” — Natalie Fasheh
Amadeus Choir is proud to release the video of “For Freedom,” the first in our Portraits of Home Series. “For Freedom” is written by Palestinian-Jordanian composer Natalie Fasheh. “For Freedom,” is inspired by the current turmoil and rising up for human rights; from the Levant region to Turtle Island, and Globally. It features Levantine vocalists Shireen Abu-Khader, Raneem Barakat, and Natalie, alongside the Amadeus Choir conducted by Nila Rajagopol.
A video project such as this takes an incredible amount of resources and artistic staff to bring to life. The Amadeus Choir is proud to present this project free of charge so that everyone can hear these incredible pieces of music. If you are able, please consider making a donation to The Amadeus Choir by visiting our website at amadeuschoir.com/donate
