Robert Davidson, one of the nation’s most eminent contemporary artist, is a member of the Tsahi Eagle Clan who was raised in the village of Masset on Haida Gwaii (the Queen Charlotte Islands). Fluent in painting, screen printing, wood carving, jewelry and other medium, Davisson has been decorated with such honours as the Order of Canada and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Canadian Aboriginal Achievement Foundation, to name a few.
