Grasshoppa Dance Exchange - Ottawa Cloud

Renata Soutter is an active member of the Grasshoppa Dance Exchange and co-Director of Propeller Dance.

She has performed at the Square Zero Festival, fFIDA, Montreal Fringe Festival, Studio 303, Dance Network, with Bread and Puppet Theatre and the Grasshoppa Dance Exchange, in crosswalks, at sculptures, street events, social forums and all over and under MontrŽal, Ottawa and Toronto.

In the field of arts education and administration she works for the National Arts Centre as Dance Outreach and ArtsAlive.ca Content Coordinator. As a teacher she has facilitated dance workshops for the Ottawa School of Speech and Drama and the City of Ottawa's Community Arts program.

Renata began her dance training in Korea before moving to Montreal. There she continued her studies and graduated from Concordia University in 2000 with a B.F.A. in contemporary dance. She also holds an Honours B.A. from Trent University and a certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy.

She currently lives in Gatineau, Quebec.
