Hopping since 2002, the Ottawa Cloud includes the first Grasshoppas. Besides extensive Hopping experience in Ottawa, this Cloud has co-produced several events including 'Dusk Dances'. The latest Hoppening is the 100-Hoppas strong 'Diffusion' project to be performed at the 2006 Canada Dance Festival June 5-9 on the street corners, crosswalks, sidewalks and fields of Ottawa.

Hopping in Ottawa hoppens when a Hoppa:

• Proposes a Hop
• Whoever can participate says "YES!"
• More than one person says "YES!"
• One or many Dance Farms take place to create and practice a score and to tweak Hopping skills
• Hop!Hop!Hop!
