[Lab] What's the catch with this kossel 3d printer kit?

Good question. :)

I don't know but I'll give you my guess... it's could be a finicky
knockoff. Not that 3D printers aren't finicky anyway...

Looking at the design, I'm not an expert but I'd think that design (as
elegant as a delta is) might be fairly tricky to keep working well. Not
that you couldn't cope with it as I know you're a good problem solver...

What's you're objective? To have fun or to make parts?

I have a printer I could set up for you to try if you want. It's got a
pretty good build area (nearly a cubic foot)... and dual heads and
stuff.... you could get whatever project done plus decide what to do..
