I have used both Danish Oil and boiled linseed oil.  However, my favourite is Minwax Antique Oil finish.
It is what is called a ‘wiping varnish’.  As such it dries to a slightly harder film and is a bit more resistant to wear.
Apparently Danish oil is also of the same category.  But the ones I tried seemed very different and very thin.
As such it is harder to build up and seemed less durable.
