Next weekend is the 4th Ottawa Valley meet for audio DIY. There are people who design and build speakers, amplifiers, DACs, and other gear, as well as those who are simply interested in how stuff works. More details at:

2013 Ottawa DIY Audio Gathering 



All DIYers are invited to this event. There will be a range of gear and music to listen to in a casual atmosphere .



Where: 

At the General Burns Park and Community Centre

107 Chesterton Drive (86 Argue Drive)

This is east of Merivale Road, and south of Meadowlands Drive



When: 

Saturday 13 April from 12 (noon) to 7 pm, and

Sunday 14 April from 9 am to 7 pm



Schedule:

Setup and photo of equipment in the morning

Brown bag lunch (there is a fridge to keep food and beverages cold)

A seminar

Listening to music on different systems throughout the afternoon

Pizza  dinner

Trades (DIYers like to reuse and recycle)

Pack and clean up after dinner.



How much: A small fee to cover rental of the room.  This is a not-for-profit event.



Parking is free and close by.



Who will be there: Old timers and new comers.  Feel free to drop by.
