[Lab] more drawbot

I am making a more serious drawbot and want to explore a system for changing
the pens to get different colors.

I was thinking.

What if the pen were held in place by one of those tiny rare earth magnets
so it's easy to snap in on and off and it also is pretty reliable in terms
of where it attaches (perhaps two points of attachment).

Then the gondola could dock itself on a changer mechanism that uses servos
to rip off the current pen and then attach a new one. Perhaps it could have
a carousel.

So there would be three appendages for this drawbot. Left spool, right spool
and tool changer.

I think this would work well because it would be auto homing. For instance,
after you install the spools and the carousel, you just put the gondola into
the carousel and the machine can pull the cords till there is no slack and
we are now calibrated.

food for thot
