Hey Guys,

I know there was a lot of interest from the Maker community in our Summer
of Drones event, so I thought I'd share this. We're running our second
full-day Hackathon on November 2nd at the University of Ottawa. These
events are open to computer programmers of all skill levels: it's a great
learning experience, and it's really cool to see your code in action moving
(or crashing!) a robot. You'll team up with a few other local developers to
take an idea from planning to a demo over the course of eight hours.

At the upcoming event, we'll also have the guys from 3DPrintler on hand to
do 3D printing demonstrations, and to custom-fabricate new parts for the
drones. We had one Arduino-based project at the last event, but we're
really excited to see more hardware hacks!

If you're interested, you can register at
http://ottdronesfall2013.eventbrite.ca/. Feel free to ask me any questions.

Cheers,
Alan
