I just got a new 4K transfer made of one of my earliest narrative films: Xerces Blue (12 minutes, 16mm, 2003). It’s the story of a young scientist who arrives at a farmhouse looking for her genetics professor. It was inspired by my interest in cloning and genetic engineering. Cinematography by Jessie Turner.
