[Pdmtl] Come jam (live code) with us, Saturday Nov 8th at Concordia University (Open House)

If you are in Montreal and looking for some indoor fun, come jam with us tomorrow (Sat, Nov 8th) between 10:30 and 15:00 at Concordia’s Music Department (see address below)

You can join us in one of the following manners:

1. Live-coding with Tidal (no experience necessary, training will be provided if you need it). For this option all you will need is a laptop (no cables, audio interface, etc.)
We will use the tidal programming language (developed by Alex McLean) and the extramuros interface (developed by David Ogborn), see information below.

2. Free improvisation with your laptop or other EA gear. We will have cables, but bring your own if you can, to be on the safe side. You will connect to a mixer, therefore have an XLR male at the end of your output, a 1/4” TRS (mono), or a 1/4” TS

3. Acoustic instruments

4. DIY sound generators, pots and pans, or anything your fevered mind concocts
