à propos de l'utilisation du cpu dans le bge, j'ai eu quelques réponses :

do you know any 3d game that doesnt try to use all
the cpu to get more performance?

the bge says: hey, there is plenty of cpu time doing
nothing, lets use it!

any app with a while loop with no sleep will cause the cpu to jump up

?or hmm... I think you have to use sleep since udp sockets can't be
blocking alone I think... a VERY short sleep(); 1 to 200ms.

aussi une information peut-être importante, la latence udp / open sound 
control est autour de 50us (pas ms, plus petit encore) sur un localhost.
