Have looked at spindle options and the way I see it I can get
a noisy 500w DC spindle for $80us at
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/0-5kw-Air-cooled-spindle-ER11-chuck-CNC-500W-Spindle-Motor-52mm-clamps-Power-Supply-speed/32723658779.html
a less noisy brushless 400W motor for (16.25+15.23)+93.44+10.55=$135.47us
Power:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Best-quality-48V-12-5A-600W-Switching-Power-Supply-Driver-for-LED-Strip-AC-110V-220V/32648982030.html
Spindle:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/low-noise-brushless-400w-spindle-kit-er11-milling-spindle-motor-mach3-speed-drives-for-DIY-engraving/32705269365.html
Bracket:https://www.aliexpress.com/item/52mm-CNC-Spindle-Clamp-for-300w-400w-500w-600w-spindle-motor-52-mm-mounts-bracket-with/32693650409.html
So it's $55us extra for brushless and while it's not double $80 it is a
bit more, however I think it's worth the extra $$ and will probably
order it on Friday (all prices above are only valid on Friday).
