[Lab] Arduino USB driver problems

Hello all,
During the clock adjustment over the weekend, I decided to update some of my
clock software.

However, 3 of my Arduino Nano's fail to be recognized by Windows 10 and
throw the error #43 "Device Descriptor Request Failure".
I suspect that these are from a batch of Chinese Nan's that used a rogue
FT232R USB chip. While I was able to get round the problem in Windows 7, I
have not been able to fix the issue in Windows 10.

Can anyone help with this driver issue, please?
