[Lab] easyIoT server

Hello all,
I would like to design new Arduino-based applications that use the ESP8266
as the wifi interface. 
I have the "Esp8266EasyIoT" libraries for Arduino that seem to require the
use of an "easyIoT" server. As I do not run on a Raspberry I have downloaded
the Windows version of the server.

I guess that I just don't understand the purpose of the easyIoT windows
server.
I have downloaded the software and "installed" it and then what?
  - How is it accessed?
  - What does it do?
  - Etc.

Any help, please?
