[Lab] thoughs about parol lantern

I was just revisiting this design http://inventorartist.com/parol/
I was thinking, when you stick the tissue paper on the front and back it is
sticking on the side of the corrugated cardboard. It's not quite as
satisfying as sticking it on the sites (where it is sticking to the flat
cardboard.

It works fine but I was wondering if anybody had any thoughts about somehow
getting it so that you're always sticking the tissue to something flat and
not corrugated...

Any thoughts?
