Alibaba, the Chinese e-commerce giant, secured its place in history as
the largest
U.S.-listed initial public offering of all time

Demand was strong for the mega IPO, which priced at $68 per share. At that
price, the IPO raised $21.8 billion, the largest ever for a company listed
on an American exchange.

Including the shares that underwriters have the option to purchase,
Alibaba's IPO would raise $25 billion -- the biggest haul on record in the
world.
