[Lab] Laser cutter cutting unevenly

Did a few small acrylic projects on the laser cutter during the AGM.
Thank you to those who fixed the "homing" problem. 

However, it was not cutting through near the top and bottom of the bed
(3mm acrylic). It was thin enough that it could be cracked by hand but
left a sharp, jagged edge. 

Anyone else noticed?
