Fair enough, it's an ongoing challenge for an organisation to engage its
members, a lengthy discussion most likely ... but actively encouraging
people to avoid the agm -- on one of the organisation's very mailing lists
-- isn't constructive since the agm is something legally required to be
held by the organisation.

I would suggest those interested in getting involved strike up a convo w/
one of the staff members.

I'm not against people talking about membership here, makes sense actually,
but would rather see it in a constructive manner.
