[Lab] rubber band planes 'n stuff

I was thinking of starting to do model plane workshops and hangouts
(especially since summer's here)...

Anybody interested?

I was thinking of doing some electric power. The flying version of the
throwie....

I've got some super capacitors and other goodies to try...

And of course there's catapult and walkalong stuff to do...

This sort of thing fits into any workshop space (including picnics and
bbq)...

And it's a great opportunity to practice your making skills (laser, 3d
printing, electrical and general problem solving skills).

What about a contest/challenge?

Perhaps to make a plane to fly in a specific venue. Perhaps duration plus
charisma (judged by crowd)...
