[Lab] wordpress workshop

Just last night I installed Wordpress.org on a lighttpd server running off a Raspberry Pi, funny timing. I have never used Wordpress before and am looking to develop a personal website I can use for various experiments. I haven’t honestly looked much at what Wordpress can do, but avenues I’d like to explore are integrating with native mobile apps, creating a RESTful web service out of Wordpress, and sending email (smtp?).
