Found this interesting clock on reddit.com/r/DIY (You can find plenty of other interesting projects on there).  Doesn't seem like it would be that hard to make, especially if you remove the birthday component.  I know there was talk of a clock competition in the e-mail thread, so I thought this may interest some of you!
