[Lab] Cable Recommendations

Hi Modlabers,
I was wondering if anyone here has experience with or knows if I need a
special / shielded cable to run a 12V PWM signal about 20 - 30 feet. It
will be driving an LED strip (2m of RGB 5050's). I have not done this
before and was wondering if I could get away with something cheap like 4
conductor telephone cable or if that will cause enough signal degradation
that it could mess with the colours. The LED driving circuitry can't be
closer, so that isn't an option.
Any info would be great!
