I've seen someone (sparkfun, adafruit, seeedstudio, someone) who had a pcb with two parallel spiraled traces and then solder pads (can't find it now). solder two wires to it, and if you get continuity, there's water.

| Subject: [Lab] water sensor

| Anybody have a suggestion for a water sensor? I want to have an alarm if my
| radiator on my laser let's any water go...

| Do I actually need a sensor or can I just use some conductors near each other
| assuming the impure water conducts enough?
