[Lab] Different / metalicized filaments for 3dp?

Hi, does anyone know if it's possible to get / use metalicized plastic filaments for consumer grade 3D printers? I'm thinking of something like the aluminide material they have at ShapeWays. Or is this only possible when using higher end techniques like Selective Laser Sintering?
