Hey Darcy,
Just got a CNC Router Parts 4896 Pro kit last week. Over the next few weeks
I will be posting up pix of the build on my blog. I need to get serious
with CNC for MakerPlane. I was tossing up between BuildyourCNC.com and CNC
Router Parts, but in the end decided to spend the extra money to have
something more robust.

I found this thread helpful to just lurk and learn.

I'd try CCB 2000 Elect Works. I had one motor rewound there about a decade
ago.

They were on Bank Street years ago, but moved to Gladstone. They have moved
again to City Centre.

I've got an old CNC system that might be fun for someone who wants to
dabble.
It's the one that's making my boxes.

I don't mind if you want to take the electrical or not... I can use the
electrical on something else...
I got it as an experiment and as it turns out I like CNC and I'm always
using these things so am ready for more expensive machines...
