Ready, Set, Go!

The Arts Network for Children and Youth is teaming up with arts and cultural organizations, youth artists, activists and community builders across the country to host National Youth Arts Week, running May 1-7, 2013.
NYAW is Canada's largest youth-led celebration of creative expression and community involvement. By hosting, organizing, and sharing in this year’s crop of events, you’ll join forces with a national network of vibrant young leaders and artists.  We need each other to make it happen.

Connect us to...  Movers and shakers in your community.  Independant artists, community animators, and culture makers.  Organizations that make a difference.  Venues in need of some exciting events.

...And we’ll connect you:  We want to furnish you with the resources you need to take part.  Need a youth artist to coordinate an event?  A toolkit full of planning or promotional ideas?  Let’s brainstorm together. If you’re interested in expanding the reach of your organization through NYAW, let us know how we can work together.

Le Réseau des Arts pour la Jeunesse s’associe avec organisations artistiques et culturelles, des jeunes artistes, des activists et des bâtisseurs communautaires à travers le pays pour accueillir la Semaine nationale jeunesse-arts (SNJA) qui se déroulera du 1 er au 7 mai 2013. La SNJA est la plus grande célébration du Canada menée par des jeunes consacrée à l’expression artistique et creative et à l’implication de la communauté dans ce domaine. En accueillant, organisant et partageant les évènements de l’édition 2013, vous joindrez vos forces à celles d’un vibrant réseau national composés de jeunes leaders et artistes. Nous avons besoin les uns des autres pour que cela se produise.

Connectez-nous… aux principaux acteurs et personnalités de votre communauté. Aux artistes indépendants, aux animateurs communautaires, aux bâtisseurs culturels. Aux organisations qui font la différence. Aux lieux ayant besoin d’évènements passionnants.

…Et nous vous connecterons : Nous voulons vous fournir les ressources dont vous avez besoin. Besoin d’un jeune artiste pour coordonner un évènement ? Un kit plein d’idées novatrices et promotionnelles ? Réfléchissons ensemble. Si vous êtes intéressés pour accroître la portée de votre organisation grâce à la Semaine Nationale Jeunesse-Arts, faites-nous savoir comment nous pouvons travailler ensemble.
