Hey Andrew - When you were telling me about using nail polish to skin your plane I kept thinking about a product they use in RC modelling called Dope, but i couldn't remember its name, so here it is:

There are things called 'bed shakers' that you can buy for the hearing impaired.
They work like the old pager vibrators. A simple motor with a offset
weight attached to it.
