[Lab] DHT22 and Book Environmental Monitoring Book (Make)

I'm trying to get a DHT22 up and running with code provided by the book 
Environmental Monitoring, published by the people at make.  Presently I 
getting 6cheksum errors. 

If you can suggest solutions I'm all ears... or in this case eyes. :-)
