[Lab] Any advice on cheap pressure pads for outdoor use?

Hi everyone, long time lurker with a question ;)

I am working on pitching the use of pressure pads outdoors to control a custom software program and am curious if any of you have any advice on where I could look for such things (or better yet be able to make my own so they can be custom sizes/shapes).
