Thanks for the suggestions ill give that a try. We don't let her come and go as she pleases anymore. Chasing squirrels is not as much fun for me as it is for that cat.

This is pretty much was I was going to suggest. I might add a very
small amount of dish detergent to the original wash, then rinse with
pure water, then isopropyl alcohol. The old toothbrush is bang on.
