Somewhere in all that brouhaha, I may have lost an EL wire inverter.  It
is a black box about 2x2x3cm, has a black shrouded male barrel connector
on one end with a long black wire from one end and a black two-pin
female connector on a shorter black wire on the other end.  The label
says "12V" amongst other things...
