I don't think it matters.
There's no such thing as too much amperage. Your arduino will only draw what it needs.
I'm sure you'll be fine with that one for a while.


What are you planning on running from the arduino?

Just got the arduino duemilanove. What are people using for a power adapter? I picked an adapter that runs at 9V since the manual suggest anywhere from 7-12V. It doesn't mention anything about amperage. I tried searching google and get anything from 40 mA to 1 amp. My adapter is rated 500mA. Does this sound reasonable? Too much? not enough?
