[Lab] design for cardboard box

I'm trying to make a design that kids can use to carry their Squirrel model
planes around with

As you can see, my first attempt is a bit of a fail.

I've tried all sorts of clumsy boxes.

I know there are lots of creative problem solvers around. Anybody have any
ideas? There might be something out there already.

I do like the idea of recycling cardboard although I'm not totally stuck on
it.

Making boxes is another fun thing I suppose I could do with the kids but I
don't want to hand out box cutters. :)
