Artengine Announces Timekode as Organization in Residence
Artengine is proud to announce a new and unique partnership with the legendary Ottawa-based DJ crew and event series, Timekode, who will be joining us as an Organization in Residence.
This year-long residency will provide a platform for Timekode to explore new creative projects and initiatives, leveraging Artengine’s resources and collaborative environment. Known for their enduring influence on Ottawa’s nightlife and their commitment to improving the city’s after-dark culture, this residency represents a new model for how cultural organizations can collaborate and grow together.
This partnership is a testament to our shared mission of supporting innovative cultural practices and fostering a vibrant, creative community. We are excited to see what new ground Timekode will break during their time with us.

Artengine is thrilled to announce that we have been selected as a recipient of the Ottawa 200 Grant for our project, 200 Stories Rising.
Selected through a peer-assessment process, 200 Stories Rising is a mentorship-based media arts residency supporting emerging artists to create large-scale public projections. The project is one of many funded initiatives taking place throughout 2026 as part of Ottawa’s bicentennial celebrations, with a commitment to providing free and inclusive public experiences for all.
We are delighted to have been recognized through this process and are excited to be partnering with Urban Art Collective as we bring this vision to life.
