Drawing from her experience of living amongst different and fascinating cultures around the world, Teresa Rozkiewicz has developed a rich mixed visual vocabulary which she uses in expressing her art. Through her mixed media work and paintings she documents from experiences of everyday life, her work is an interpretation of her new context, new circumstances.

Teresa’s pieces are structured in a series of layers. In the process of painting she uses a variety of different materials; in her pieces there is photography, a text, a story telling, a narrative in a social context. She often finds herself painting and erasing an image, changing the original messages, juxtaposing ideas and images, all this being part of the painting process.
