Heart Lake (2.5 min, 2025) is a black & white hand-processed 16mm film that is one-part family portrait, and one-part the portrait of a beloved landscape in western Quebec.

This film and other new works by the Lightproof Film Collective will be screening at Club SAW on October 19th. We are grateful for funding from the City of Ottawa, and exhibition support from the Ontario Arts Council and SAW Gallery.
