Chers Montréalais, Amis de Pure Data,

Comme la plupart d’entre vous le savez, L’Œuvre ouverte | PureData 
Convention ‘07 se déroulera à Montréal du 21 au 26 août 2007.  Ceci est 
le 2e événement international de ce genre, rassemblant des organisations 
canadiennes et internationales, des artistes, des développeurs et des 
théoriciens qui développent, emploient et réfléchissent sur les outils 
Open Source qui seront utiles pour les artistes. L’Œuvre ouverte | 
PureData Convention ‘07 est un programme enrichi d’expositions, de 
performances, de conférences et d’ateliers.

Plusieurs participants viennent de l’extérieur et nous comptons sur 
notre communauté locale pour les accueillir !

Présentement, nous tentons d’apparier les invités aux habitants locaux, 
qui pourraient les recevoir dans leurs maisons.  Les participants vont 
arriver à différents moments, soit pendant la semaine du congrès ou la 
semaine précédente. Quiconque accepte de loger un ou des participants 
évitera de payer les frais d’inscription du congrès. Cela signifie que 
vous pourrez assister aux performances, expositions, ateliers et 
conférences gratuitement !!

Votre aide assurera qu’un plus grand nombre de visiteurs puissent 
participer à cet événement.

Si vous êtes intéressés à accommoder un ou plusieurs invités, s.v.p.

~HELP US WELCOME THE INTERNATIONAL PUREDATA COMMUNITY~

Dear Montreal Pure Data Friends,

As many of you know, L’Œuvre ouverte | PureData Convention ‘07 will take 
place in Montreal from the 21st to the 26th of August 2007.  This is the 
2nd international event of its kind, bringing together Canadian and 
international organizations, artists, developers and theoreticians who 
develop, use and reflect on Open Source tools for artists. L’Œuvre 
ouverte | PureData Convention ‘07 consists of a rich program of 
exhibitions, performances, conferences and workshops.

There are several participants coming from abroad and we are looking to 
our local community to welcome them!

We are currently looking to pair-up our guests with locals who can 
billet them in their homes.  Participants will be arriving at varying 
times prior to and during the week of the convention. Anyone who billets 
one or more participants gets their registration fees waived for the 
convention. That means you can attend the performances, exhibitions, 
workshops and conferences for free!

Your help will ensure that as many visitors as possible will be able to 
participate in the event.

If you are interested in accommodating one or more guests please send an 
email to:

information:

 Your full name
 Telephone number
 Your full address
 The dates that you are able to accommodate guests
 How many guests you are able to accommodate
 A description of the accommodation (ie. private room / shared room / 
floor space /  couch / pets…)
 Other info (ie.  Requests for specific guests, other household details...)
