Bonjour Paul,

Unfortunately I do not have an answer for you concerning this  
external but I can offer you a work around using [expr].

expr $f1;
if ($f1>63, (127-$f1)/63, 1);
if ($f1<63, $f1/63, 1)

Check out the attached patch.
