<div dir="ltr">This could also be an issue with dirty optics (lens and or mirrors). At the farther extremes the laser needs to travel further and tends to attenuate through space. <p>Did a few small acrylic projects on the laser cutter during the AGM. Thank you to those who fixed the "homing" problem.</p>

<p>However, it was not cutting through near the top and bottom of the bed (3mm acrylic). It was thin enough that it could be cracked by hand but left a sharp, jagged edge.</p>

<p>Anyone else noticed?</p>
