<div class="" style="">- Chemical (using something that will react in the presence of water)</div><div class="" style="">- Optical (light attenuation of certain IR spectrum and so on)</div><div class="" style="">- Ultrasonic (ultrasonics will bounce off the surface of the water, so most ultrasonic rangefinders will detect water level in a contactless way)</div>
