Hey Lab,<div><br><div>I saw this today and thought some on the list might be intrigued:</div><div><br></div><div><a href="http://m.spectrum.ieee.org/nanoclast/semiconductors/nanotechnology/sprayon-antenna-enabled-by-nanoparticles-extends-range-of-antennas-one-hundred-times">http://m.spectrum.ieee.org/nanoclast/semiconductors/nanotechnology/sprayon-antenna-enabled-by-nanoparticles-extends-range-of-antennas-one-hundred-times</a></div>

<div><br></div><div>I&#39;m really curious as to how it works- I&#39;m guessing that it employs piezoelectric particles suspended in silicon or some other type of waterproof sticking substance. If that&#39;s the case it can&#39;t be great on trees as trees breathe partially through their outer bark, along with a host of other processes. Thoughts? What do you think this substance is?</div>
