Toward the end of that evening I was feeling side-effects of the acrylic cutting so it's definitely one of the "cut with door open" materials.<br>

How about a default rule along the lines of "Plain wood and paper products with no surface glues or adhesives are permitted. All other materials must be authorized by ArtEngine before use with the laser."<br>

That way Ryan and Britta can add materials and associated vector and raster settings into our wiki and build up a set of Printer Preference Presets to load as required.<br>

Aside: Anyone know where I can get good quality, flat 24"x12" (or size-multiples to cut down) sheets of 3mm or 1/8" thick wood (maple, birch, etc.) locally? I want to do a proper wood-cut of the 8-bit violin that I did last night in cardboard.<br>
